When was the last time you had a defining moment? Perhaps it was the birth of a child, a wedding, or even the day you chose to follow Christ. Life is full of moments that change the course of our future. As a church, we are at a defining moment. In this moment, I believe God is calling each one of us to THINK BIG. Together, we have experienced BIG moments in the last year. Now, we are being called to see the BIG opportunity to expand our influence for the cause of Christ. It’s hard to believe that we have already been here for over one year. So much has happened in that short time, yet it still seems like yesterday that we had just a handful of people. On this date, we take the biggest risk we have ever taken as a church. We have launched our THINK BIG journey. We have joined together to do whatever it takes to make God’s dreams for our Church a reality.
Now we are experiencing that initial dream God had for us. Marriages and families have been saved & lives changed. We’ve grown from 11 one year ago to 48 this past Sunday! We had a high day of 66 people, 4 follow Jesus’ example of baptism, while many others have joined our family. My prayer for us now is that we affirm God’s hand on our church by committing our faith into works and deeds this year with THINK BIG commitments. I know that God has much bigger plans and dreams for us, and finishing strong on THINK BIG is key to seeing those dreams become a reality. We started on March 8th by spending some time talking about THINK BIG and its impact on our church. I have some exciting news to share as God has already started revealing to me some of His dreams for the upcoming year. I encourage each of you to be a part of what God will be doing during the next few weeks.
As we near the future, I ask each of you to join Keiki and I in prayer. Just like we did one year ago. I again want to encourage each of you to go before God and ask the simple question, “What do you want me to do to make your dreams for this church a reality?” If we all pray together, there’s no limit to what God can do.
Let’s make history TOGETHER... THINK BIG.

What is a THINK BIG Commitment?
THINK BIG is a journey that our church began March 2009. As a church, we collectively ask God what he would have each of us do to make his dreams for our Church a reality. The members of our church will pledge to give above and beyond our tithe. This will allow us to purchase property and/or build a new auditorium and campus. Your three-year financial commitment to THINK BIG will help our Church invest in the future as we continue to impact lives for Christ. Through your gifts we will be able to better reach Detroit with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
What Can I Do?
-Pray!
This is most important step to prepare you heart to respond to God’s call to action.
-Discuss it!
Individuals, families, businesses should take time to discuss what they can do as a whole for the future.
-Make your commitment!
Once you have prayed and talked about it, express your faith on the commitment card.
-Expect a Miracle!
We serve an awesome God . . . So trust that He will provide what He impresses you to give.
